Dear Members,

Well, we have just completed our first show at Bill Klop’s in Agassiz.  I would like to extend my appreciation to the Klop family on behalf of the BCRCHA for their hospitality in providing a great venue for our show.  The facility, footing and cattle were great. Everybody seemed to be having a great time and we even had time for a lunch break with the catering available.  For an early season show we had 38 works, which shows a lot of enthusiasm to get out and cut. We owe a big thank you to Randy Brandt for organizing this show with Bill.  It was nice to see a number of new members, including Bill, join the club and work their horses. I welcome all of the new members to the club. Thank you to all those that came and helped lope horses and work on the turn back. Wendy as usually was excellent and we thank her for coming down to judge the show.

 

Our next show is April 11, 2010 at the Stradling’s, so keep on working your horses. Our calendar is not completely working yet, however, I have put in a Tentative Show Schedule as an attachment. See under Shows.

 

I have added the new Sponsor letter and Sponsor application on the Sponsor page. It is everyone’s responsibility to help with finding sponsors, not just the directors, so feel free to download the sponsor letter and hit the road.

 

The results of the Feb. 21, 2010 have been placed in a Table and points tallied. We are just waiting for the earnings to be tabulated and a confirmation that the point calculations are correct. Keep checking back it will be out soon.
